ABOUT US

Hello and welcome to our blog.  My wife Lisa and I started this blog as a way to help guide readers through the obstacles of life in the areas of personal finance, healthy living and self improvement.

Oh and by the way, I’m Shane.

We are all busier than ever.  There are so many demands on our time and it can become very overwhelming.

1 year ago we realized that life is too short and the time we have to enjoy life is way to valuable to waste it.  That’s when we decided to dive deep into what we really wanted out of life.

How did we want to live?  How could we make a difference?  How could we help others design their lifestyle so they don’t take for granted another minute of life?

That’s when we made the decision to sell everything and move to a tropical paradise.  A place where we could enjoy life and inspire others to do the same.

Fast forward to 2018, Our new home is in beautiful Puerto Rico!!

A little background on us.  Lisa is a CPA and investment advisor with a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management.  She has over 20 years of experience with helping people with their finances.  I have a Masters in Physician Assistant Science with 20 years experience in the fields of health and fitness.

Now I know many negative thinkers will say, easier said than done.  We’re here to let you know, it can be done!  We did it and so can you!

So many people feel that their dreams (I like to call them goals) aren’t obtainable.  They’re afraid of failing or what others will think of them so they keep dreaming, but don’t take any action.  It all comes down to action, mindset and persistence!

Through our traditional schooling and life experiences we have learned that nothing comes easy and as I mentioned above it comes down to action, mindset, persistence and not being afraid to fail.  You shouldn’t view failure as a negative.  You should view failure as a learning tool, a way to improve.

“Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure.”  – Napoleon Hill

We want to share what we’ve learned through our failures and successes, and our desire to continually improve, so that we can help others improve their happiness.
