I came across this delicious keto friendly recipe this week and wanted to share it with you.  This recipe is full of flavor and healthy fats!

As you may already know, the keto diet is a low carbohydrate, high fat, moderate protein diet that helps transition your body from using sugar or glucose for energy to becoming a fat burning machine.

As you remove high carbohydrate foods from your diet, your blood sugar will dramatically decline (in a healthy way), and your body will begin to break down fat for energy.

This process causes weight loss, decreases cravings and bloating, and improves mental clarity.

Keto Friendly Breakfast Squares

  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 Organic, cage free eggs, beaten
  • 2 Jalapeno peppers, diced
  • 4 Tbsp Grass-fed butter
  1. 1. Combine the eggs and the cheeses.

    2. Butter the bottom of an 8×8 pan; add the jalapeno peppers. Stir in the cheese mixture.

    3. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees, then for another 30 minutes at 250 degrees.

Carbs – 4.4 g

Fat – 62.6 g

Protein – 51.6 g

Calories – 782
